MF stands for Museeuw Flax. An MF-frame is a monocoque lug-look flaxcarbon frame, with flax and carbon used in the three main tubes of the frame, in the fork and in the rear-stays. The flax-fiber absorbs microshocks, which is why the Museeuw MF-frames offers the highest comfort over any full carbon frame. More comfort means improved ride quality.
While designing the new MF-1 our framebuilder Roberto Billato had one goal: to maximize the riding comfort in a full-option high-end raceframe.
“If I could do my career all over this, by far, would be the bike I would choose to start in the Spring Classics. It provides an excellent lateral stiffness but it also filters out the microshocks.”
-Johan Museeuw
